The United Nations annually celebrates many international and global days aimed at drawing attention to issues of great importance to humanity. Among these occasions is World Meteorological Day, which falls on March 23 each year, highlighting the vital role played by the meteorological community in serving societies and saving lives.
As part of the celebratory context marking this event, Professor Celeste Saulo, Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization, congratulated the international community on the occasion of World Meteorological Day, emphasizing that this year’s commemoration takes place under the slogan: “Observing Today to Protect Tomorrow”.
