President of Republic Holds Phone Call with UAE President

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held a telephone conversation today, Sunday, with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, following the missile attacks that targeted UAE territory.

During the call, His Excellency the President affirmed the Islamic Republic of Mauritania’s strong condemnation of these attacks. He emphasized that the leadership and people of Mauritania stand firmly alongside the UAE, expressing full solidarity and a categorical rejection of any infringement upon the sovereignty, security, or stability of Arab nations.

For his part, His Highness the President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President for Mauritania’s supportive stance toward the UAE.

Furthermore, His Excellency the President and His Highness the President of the UAE stressed the necessity of an immediate cessation of military actions and a return to the diplomatic path to avoid further escalation and to safeguard regional security and stability.
