President of Republic Arrives in Lekseiba

On February 11, President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani arrived in Lekseiba, the fourth stop on his inspection visit to the Gorgol region.

Accompanied by the Wali of Gorgol, Mohamed El Mokhtar Ould Abdi, His Excellency was welcomed by Colonel Oumar Ahmed Hanenna, Commander of the Seventh Military Region; Ely Cheikh Abdellahi Oumar, Hakem of Lekseiba; Aboubecrine Coulibaly Tambou, Mayor of the municipality; and Mohamed Abdellahi Mahmoud Kane, MP of the moughataa.

After greeting his hosts, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani listened to a song performed in his honor by students from the Lekseiba school. Then, he headed to his residence.

During this stage of his visit, the President will learn about the situation of citizens in the moughataa and listen to the complaints and aspirations of its inhabitants.
