President of Republic Visits Branch of Training, Social Promotion Center for Children with Disabilities in Kaedi

On 9 February, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic,  visited the branch of the Training and Social Promotion Center for Children with Disabilities in the city of Kaedi.

The President of the Republic visited the various sections of the Center, where he inquired about the nature and quality of the educational and social services offered to disabled children in the city.

The center, the first public facility of its kind in the Gorgol wilaya and the river region, aims to strengthen the integration of children with disabilities and provide them with appropriate educational and social support.

Inaugurated in 2024, the Center currently provides services to 72 children supervised by an educational team of nine people.

The mothers of the children supported by the Center expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic for his attention to persons with disabilities in general, and to children particularly, praising the care, support, training, and rehabilitation their children receive.
