Mauritania, Kuwait Examine Investment Prospects, Follow Up on Debt Settlement Implementation

On 28 January, in Kuwait City, Mr. Abdellahi Souleymane Cheikh Sidiya, Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, held an expanded meeting with Dr. Sabah Abdul Aziz Al-Mukhayzim, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.

The meeting was marked by a high-level presence on the Kuwaiti side, with the participation of the General Investment Authority, reflecting the importance of cooperation between the two countries.

During the discussions, the two sides reviewed the strong ties between the two brotherly countries and ways to elevate them to broader horizons.

The meeting’s agenda was dominated by a review of the mechanisms for monitoring the debt settlement agreement, which clearly reflects the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries and the great trust enjoyed by His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, among his brothers and the international community.
