Minister of Economic Affairs heads to Kuwait

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdellahi Souleymane Cheikh Sidia, departed the capital Nouakchott today, Wednesday, heading to the State of Kuwait on an official working visit aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership with economic actors in sisterly Kuwait.
The Minister’s visit agenda is scheduled to include high-level meetings with the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Subaih Abdul Aziz Al-Mukhayzim, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation, before moving on to extensive talks with the Director-General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Mr. Walid Shumlan Al-Bahr, and the Director-General and Chairman of the Board of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, Mr. Fawzi Youssef Al-Huneif.
These meetings come within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen partnership and cooperation with sisterly Kuwait with the aim of supporting the investment portfolio and developing existing joint financing mechanisms.
