APIM Director General Receives General Manager of Afroport, Lagardère Travel Retail Representative

The Director-General of the Agency for the Promotion of Investment in Mauritania (APIM), Ms. Aissata Lam, received Monday the general manager of Afroport and Sountou Bousso, representative of the Lagardère Travel Retail, a French multinational company working in the field of trail trade at stations and airports under international brands such as Relay or Aelia Duty-Free.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the opening of an Aelia Duty-Free shop and other commercial activities at Nouakchott – Oumtounsy International Airport.

The group Lagardère has opened a branch in Mauritania and intends to invest 85 million MRU, creating 100 new job opportunities during the next two years.
