Defense Minister, Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Sign MoU To Strengthen Bilateral Military Cooperation

On 20 January, in Doha, Mr. Hananna Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with His Highness Sheikh Saoud bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the State of Qatar, aimed at developing and strengthening military relations between the two brotherly countries.

The signing took place during a meeting on the sidelines of the Defense Minister’s participation in the 9th edition of the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026), held from January 19 to 22 in Doha under the theme “A global platform for defense innovations… investing in opportunities to build a secure future.”
