Prime Minister and his Senegalese counterpart preside over a Working Session to strengthen Joint Cooperation

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diay, and his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Ousmane Sonko, chaired this morning, Thursday, in the Senegalese capital Dakar, a joint working session that included the accompanying delegations, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister emphasized, during his speech on the occasion, that joint work between the two countries will enable the consolidation of achievements and open new horizons for innovative initiatives and structural projects, as well as practical steps that will support the strategic partnership between our two brotherly countries, serve the development process, promote the integration of our continent, and contribute to reaching the goals set within our shared African Agenda 2063.
In turn, Senegalese Prime Minister Mr. Ousmane Sonko emphasized the importance of continuous coordination and careful monitoring of various joint programs to ensure their success and achieve the desired objectives. He also highlighted the meticulous preparation for the Joint High Committee for Cooperation, which will be held in Dakar this year under the chairmanship of the two Prime Ministers, and stressed the importance of consolidating relations of friendship and cooperation, which would enhance regional stability and support sustainable development pathways.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a final statement in which both parties agreed to continue consultations and coordination at all levels to strengthen this strategic partnership
