The Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diay, arrived this morning, Thursday, in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, at the start of a two-day friendship and work visit. The Prime Minister was welcomed at Dakar International Airport by his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Ousmane Sonko, and a number of members of the Senegalese government.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the fraternal relations and distinguished bilateral cooperation existing between the two brotherly countries, which enjoy high attention and care from the leaders of both countries, His Excellency the President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and his brother His Excellency the President of the Republic of Senegal Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This visit represents an important milestone for exploring new horizons to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand areas of strategic partnership, serving the interests of the two fraternal peoples and contributing to the enhancement of regional integration and unity.
