COVID-19: Ministry of Interior Affirms that Punitive Actions will be taken against violators of Precautionary Measures

The ministry of the interior and decentralization called on citizens to exercise the highest degree of caution and cooperate with the official authorities to mitigate the repercussions of the third wave of COVID-19, which appears to spread faster than the previous ones.

In a communique, the ministry affirmed that the country will take the deterrent measures that include punishing the violators of the precautionary measures.

The communique added that the Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, underlined the importance of redoubling efforts and adhering to health recommendations to contain the spread of the pandemic.
