Minister of Minerals and Industry Receives Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy

The Minister of Minerals and Industry, Mr. Thiam Tidjani, received today, Tuesday, Her Excellency the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States of America in Mauritania, Ms. Corinna Sanders.
The meeting, , was dedicated to discussing the existing cooperation between Mauritania and the United States of America, particularly in the fields of minerals and industry, reviewing prospects for strengthening bilateral partnership, and exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in ways that serve common interests, and enhance opportunities for investment and technical cooperation, within the framework of the friendly relations that unite the two countries.
