Finance Committee of the National Assembly discusses the Budget of the Ministry of Culture and Arts

Nouakchott, December 9, 2025 (MNA) – The Finance Committee of the National Assembly dedicated its meeting held this morning, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Deputy Ali Mamadou Kane, the committee’s chairman, to discussing the budget of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament in the draft state finance law for the year 2026.
The committee listened to a presentation by the Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mr. El oussein Ould Medou, in which he addressed the items of this budget and its expenditure areas.
The ministry’s budget in the mentioned draft law amounts to 1,618,495,939 Ouguiya.
