Finance Committee of the Assembly is examining the budget of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs

The Finance Committee of the National Assembly, chaired by Deputy Ali Mamoudou Kane, met on Monday evening to examine the budget of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education as part of the 2026 finance bill.
During this meeting, the committee heard a presentation from the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education, Mr. Vadhil Ould Sidiaty, who discussed the various budget items and their allocation. The ministry’s budget, as indicated in the bill, amounts to 1,139,657,155 ouguiyas.
