Mauritania Elected Member of Council of Arab Information Ministers’ Executive Bureau

Mauritania was elected on 26 November at the end of the 54th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held in Cairo, as a member of the Council’s Executive Bureau for its next session.

Mr. El Houssein Ould Meddou, Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, expressed Mauritania’s pride in this Arab confidence, affirming that his country will assume its role within the Executive Bureau with total commitment and responsibility, and will contribute to strengthening joint Arab media coordination and developing initiatives aimed at modernizing Arab media and consolidating their presence in the international arena.
