The Minister of Defense Participates in the 19th Dubai Airshow


The Minister of Defense, Retirees Affairs, and Martyrs’ Children, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, participated in the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow from November 17 to 21, 2025, in response to an invitation from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense.


On the sidelines of the exhibition, His Excellency the Minister of Defense, Retirees Affairs, and Martyrs’ Children met with His Excellency the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in the military and security fields and ways to develop them.

 The Minister was briefed on the latest advances in the military aviation industry, and he listened to explanations from some of the exhibition organizers about the newest products in aviation, including artificial intelligence applications, drones, and simulation systems.

 

The meeting was attended by His Excellency our country’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Rara, and General Abba Ould Babty, Chief of Air Staff, along with a number of senior officers from the Ministry of Defense.
