President of Republic Receives Chairman of Saudi Chambers’ Council

On 18 November, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, received Mr. Hassan al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce.

The meeting focused on strengthening the investment partnership between our country and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The guest confirmed his willingness to act as an investment ambassador for our country within Saudi economic circles and to promote investment opportunities to major Saudi institutions.

The meeting also discussed prospects for launching joint strategic projects in the fields of renewable energy and green hydrogen, mining, agriculture, livestock, sea fishing, and logistics, in line with the vision of the two brotherly countries.

The two parties emphasized the importance of supporting the preparation of a set of projects ready for financing, facilitating the mobilization of Saudi funding, and strengthening the transfer of expertise and capacity building through training and technical twinning in vital sectors.

This meeting reflects the new dynamic of the partnership between our country and Saudi Arabia, as well as its role in promoting investment and development.
