President of Republic Receives Kinross CEO

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received the CEO of the Canadian company Kinross, Mr. Paul Rollinson, on Tuesday afternoon at the “Mokhtar Ould Daddah” International Conference Center in Nouakchott. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the third session of the Supreme Investment Council in Mauritania.

During their discussions, the two sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation in the mining sector, enhance local mineral processing, develop national skills through training, and integrate Mauritanian companies into mining value chains.

The meeting was attended by the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha.
