Minister of Justice Receives Chinese Ambassador

On 17 November, in Nouakchott, Minister of Justice Mohamed Ould Soueidatt received His Excellency Mr. Tang Zhongdong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mauritania.

The meeting was an opportunity for the ambassador to congratulate the minister on his appointment as head of the justice department, reviewing in detail the characteristics of the Chinese judicial system and the possibilities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in this area.

For his part, the minister appreciated the ambassador’s presentation, highlighting the depth of the friendly relations between Mauritania and China and emphasizing the promising prospects for judicial cooperation in the service of the common interests of the two friendly countries.
