President of Republic Inquires About Work Progress on Amourj–Adelbeghrou Road

On 12 November, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, visited a section of the Amourj–Adelbeghrou road under construction. He wanted a first-hand look at the work and to gather information.

The Amourj-Adelbeghrou road is 77 km long. It is built by a consortium of national companies. The Mauritanian government and the Saudi Fund for Development co-finance the project for 7.8 billion MRO.

This road construction is part of the President’s ambitious vision. The goal is to meet citizens’ needs and satisfy their aspirations. It also aims to enable access to basic services by making travel safer and easier for people and goods.
