President of the Republic heads to the city of Nema as part of a working visit and inspection of the Hodh El Charbi region.
His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived this morning, Thursday, in the city of Néma, at the start of a visit to the Hodh Ech Chargui region, during which he will oversee the launch of the urgent program to generalize access to essential services for local development.
His Excellency the President of the Republic will also be briefed on the ground, during this visit which includes all the state’s districts, about the reality of the citizens and the challenges they face, and will listen to their concerns and aspirations.
Upon his arrival at Néma International Airport, His Excellency the President of the Republic was received at the airplane stairs by the Governor of Hodh Ech Chargui, Mr. Islem Ould Sidi, the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Colonel Edoum Mohamed Ammar, the President of the Hodh Ech Chargui Region, Mr. Mohamoud Ould Tijani, as well as the Governor of Néma, the Mayor and councilors of the municipality, before His Excellency reviewed units of the Armed Forces that rendered him a salute.Afterwards, His Excellency the President shook hands with the elected officials, professionals, and local dignitaries of the region who lined up to greet him.
