Public Service Minister returns to Nouakchott

The Minister of Civil Service and Labour, Ms. Mariem Boidiel Houmed, returned to Nouakchott on Sunday morning after attending several important international conferences, including: The Conference on Social Justice, held in Italy; The International Conference on Digitalization and the Future of Work, also held in Italy; The High-Level Conference organised as part of the activities of the Union for the Mediterranean, held in Malta; And the Sixth Session of the Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers, held in Doha.

On the sidelines of these conferences, the Minister held meetings and discussions with several Ministers of Labour from Member States, as well as with senior international figures and officials, including the Director-General of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Regional Director of the International Labour Office for Africa and the Maltese Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment.
