Ambassador of Mauritania to the Republic of India presents his Credentials

On Friday in New Delhi, His Excellency Mr. Ahmedou Ould Ahmedou presented his credentials to Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu, President of the Republic of India, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of India.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to Her Excellency the President of the Republic of India, and wished her success in her duties, and further progress and prosperity for the Indian people.
His Excellency the Ambassador affirmed his readiness to work on strengthening the distinguished cooperative relations between the two countries and to move forward in everything that would enhance the level of cooperation in a way that serves the shared interests of the Mauritanian and Indian peoples.
For her part, Her Excellency the President asked His Excellency the Ambassador to convey her greetings and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the Republic, wishing him continued health and well-being, and commending his role in achieving peace and stability in the Sahel region and in Africa in general.She also affirmed her country’s keenness to continue efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries and raising it to a higher level in various developmental fields.
