Mauritania’s Ambassador to Qatar Presents Credentials

On 23 September, in Doha, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Babana presented his credentials to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the State of Qatar.

After receiving the credentials, His Highness the Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar granted His Excellency the Ambassador a formal audience during which he expressed his wishes for success in his new diplomatic duties, praising the strength, depth, and diversity of the ties between Mauritania and the State of Qatar.

In turn, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Deputy Emir and conveyed to him and to His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, and his constant eagerness to develop fraternal relations and strengthen the ties that unite Mauritania and the brotherly State of Qatar.
