Closure of the National Week of Culture and Arts in Trarza.

Last night, the curtain fell in the city of Rosso on the activities of the third edition of the National Week of Culture and Arts, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament.The closing ceremony of this event was distinguished by the distribution of cash prizes to the first winners in all the competitions organized as part of the week’s activities.

During his speech on the occasion, the advisor to the governor of Trarza for political and social affairs, Mr. Mohamed Abdallah Ould al-Imam, stated that the National Week for Culture and Arts has been a distinctive platform to celebrate our rich heritage and cultural and artistic diversity. It was also a precious opportunity to highlight the talents of our young nationals and to strengthen the bridges of communication between generations in service to our authentic identity and to root national unity and cohesion values.He added that this national event confirmed that culture and arts are not merely expressions but are levers for development and a means to reinforce belonging and a pillar to enhance our country’s prominence regionally and internationally.

The evening included musical performances, folkloric dances, and theatrical sketches that addressed some issues relevant to society and called for its unity.The closing ceremony of the week was attended by the governor of Rosso Province, Mr. Amkhitarat Ould Mohamed Vall, the regional delegate of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Communication and Relations with Parliament, Mrs. Amna Mint Aal Bab, and the assistant mayor of Rosso, Mr. Al-Hussein Ould Beti.
