President of Republic Leaves for Doha To Attend Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit

On 13 September, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, departed from Nouakchott for Doha, the capital of Qatar, to attend the Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit, scheduled for 15 September.

The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport – Oumtounsy, by Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay, the Prime Minister, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, the Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Othmane and Ms. Aïssata Ba Yahya, the Minister Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ben Boya, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Hanana Ould Sidi, the Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Minister of the Interior, Promotion of Decentralization, and Local Development, as well as Lieutnant-General Brahim Fall Cheibani Cheikh Ahmed, the Chief of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, Deputy Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Ms. Gandega Fatimata, the Deputy Wali of Nouakchott West, Mr. Khiyarhoum Ould El Mostapha, and Ms. Hawa Sidi Bey, the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region.
