Adrar: Closure of the National Week for Culture
Last night in the city of Atar, the activities of the National Week of Culture and Arts Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, concluded.In a speech on this occasion, the Deputy Governor of Adrar, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Iswailem, stated that the festival was rich with evenings, artistic and heritage performances, and competitions that serve the cultural scene, encourage innovation and creativity, and support domestic tourism.and Arts Festival in Atar
The closing ceremony included the chanting of prophetic praises, poetry recitals, and theatrical sketches addressing issues of national unity, social cohesion, the importance of domestic tourism, combating drugs, and school dropout.The event was highlighted by the distribution of awards to winners in competitions organized as part of the festival’s activities, such as the Quran memorization and recitation competition, as well as competitions in both classical and Hassani literature, theater, and visual arts.
The conclusion took place in the presence of the Governor of the Aftar region, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Ould Zeine, the assistant mayor of the Aftar municipality, an advisor from the regional council of the Adrar region, the regional delegate of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Communication, and a number of the region’s residents.
