APIM Director General receives Chinese Ambassador

The Director-General of the Investment Promotion Agency in Mauritania (APIM), Ms. Aissata Lam, received Thursday His Excellency Mr. Li Baijun, ambassador of People’s Republic of China.

The discussions focused on investment opportunities provided by Mauritania’s business climate and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries through promoting trade exchange.

The Chinese ambassador affirmed that Chinese investors take great interest in different sectors, particularly fishing, energy, and infrastructure.

In this regard, the Investment Promotion Agency in Mauritania is working to support the Chinese companies and reduce the obstacles that they might face.
