Social Action Minister participates in the opening of the first humanitarian forum of (AES) in Bamako

The Minister of Social Action, Childhood and Family, Ms. Savia mint Ntahah, participated in the opening of the first humanitarian forum of the Alliance of Sahelian States (AES), held in Bamako, Mali, from 7 to 9 August.
The forum aims to enhance regional coordination in response to worsening humanitarian crises in the Central Sahel.
In her opening remarks, the Minister highlighted the historic and profound ties between Mauritania and Mali—woven through centuries of cultural, social, and economic exchange. She emphasized that these bonds form a strong foundation for cooperation and solidarity in building a safe and prosperous Sahel region.
She also noted that His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazzouani places great importance on the region’s security and stability, underscoring that bilateral, regional, and international cooperation is essential to address shared humanitarian and security challenges.
