Minister of Culture Meets With AFD Delegation

On 31 July, in Nouakchott, Mr. El Houssein Ould Meddou, the Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, received a delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD).

The delegation included Mr. Bernard Roby, Advisor for Cooperation and Cultural Action at the Embassy of the French Republic in Mauritania, Mr. Ignace Monkam-Daverat, Director of the French Development Agency in Mauritania, and Ms. Domitille Lobito, an officer in charge of special duties at the French Development Agency.

The meeting focused on cooperation relations between the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the French Republic, particularly in the fields of culture, media, and arts, as well as ways to strengthen this cooperation in support of Mauritania’s cultural development priorities.
