Minister of Social Action Receives UN System Coordinator in Mauritania

On 31 July, in Nouakchott, Ms. Savia Ntahah, the Minister of Social Action, Children, and Family, received Ms.  Lila Pieters Yahia, the Resident Coordinator of the UN System in Mauritania.

The meeting focused on discussing Mauritania’s participation in some international events related to social development and women’s empowerment.

The meeting also reviewed the most effective ways to coordinate UN program interventions in the area of gender.
