The Minister of Higher Education honors the Director of the Confucius Institute for Chinese Language Teaching.

Mr. Yakoub Ould Moyne, honoured the Director of the Confucius Institute for Teaching Chinese, Mr. Guo Guangwei, at his office in Nouakchott, on the occasion of the end of his term of office.

The minister presented the director of the institute with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of the efforts he made to promote the teaching of the Chinese in Mauritania during his time as director of the institute, which is located at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Nouakchott University.

The director of the institute thanked the minister for this honour, expressing his pride in the efforts he made for the benefit of students at the University of Nouakchott.

It’s worth noting that  the Confucius Institute One of its key roles is to teach Chinese and support the Chinese language department at Nouakchott University.
