The 47th Session of the AU Executive Council Kicks off with the Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The 47th session of the Executive Council of the African Union (AU) kicked off Thursday morning in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, with the participation of the minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.

The agenda of the session includes the discussion and approval of various committee reports before submitting them to the summit of African Heads of State and Government scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

In addition to the Minister, the opening of the session was attended by Mauritania’s Ambassador to Addis Ababa and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Mr. El Houssein Ould Naji, Ambassador in charge of the Minister’s Office, Mr. Mohamed Tata, Ambassador, Director of Communication and Information at the Ministry, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Douh, Assistant Director of Honors, Mr. Ba Amadou Baila, First Counselor at our delegation in Addis Ababa, Mr. Mohamedou Souvi.
