Minister of Defense Receives UN Resident Coordinator

The minister of Defense, Retired Persons and Martyrs’ Children Affairs, Hananna Ould Sidi, received on Wednesday at his office in Nouakchott, the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations system in Mauritania, Leila Peters Yahya.
The talks dealt with ways to develop and strengthen the existing cooperation relations between Mauritania and the United Nations, especially in the areas entrusted to the defense sector and the affairs of retirees and children of martyrs.
The meeting took place in the presence of Colonel El Hassan Ould Abdi Ould Affi, Director of the Military Documentation and Security Office.
