Mauritanian Community in the U.S. Welcomes Presidential Visit to Washington

Representatives of the Mauritanian community in the United States have expressed strong support for the working visit of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani to Washington, D.C., scheduled for July 9–11, 2025, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

In interviews with the Mauritanian News Agency (AMI) on Tuesday, community leaders emphasized that the visit reflects a clear and sincere American interest in Mauritania. They described it as a valuable opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations across a range of sectors.
