The minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Marzoug held talks Tuesday at his office with a number of ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
They included HE Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait, Mr. Ibdah Makad Al Dosari, HE Ambassador of the sisterly State of Qatar, Mr. Shaheen bin Aali Al Kaabi, and HE Ambassador of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Jassim bin Eid bin Abdullah Al Saadi.
The meeting discussed the distinguished cooperation relations between Mauritania and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and means of enhancing and developing them, and the two sides also exchanged views on various issues and developments of common interest between Mauritania and these countries.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Al-Hanchi, the Ambassador, Director General of the Bilateral Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry.
