On 19 June, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ould Khaled, the Minister of Energy and Oil, Acting Minister of Economy and Finance, presided over the opening session of the annual report on Mauritania’s economic situation, organized by the World Bank under the chairmanship of its resident representative in Nouakchott, Mr. Ibou Diouf, under the title: “Reforming for inclusion and resilience: maintaining the momentum of social assistance reform”.
This institutional report aims to share the understanding of the country’s economic dynamics, with a view to strengthening constructive dialogue on the public policies and structural reforms needed to promote strong, inclusive, and sustainable growth.
