Mauritanian pilgrims perform the Great Pilgrimage at Arafat

Mauritanian pilgrims began arriving after dawn on Thursday at Arafat to perform the Great Pillar of Hajj.
In Arafat, pilgrims performed the Dhuhr and Asr prayers at the Nimra Mosque, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
As the sun sets on Arafat, pilgrims will begin to move to Muzdalifa, where they will perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers, and spend the night there, in preparation for moving to Mina on Friday morning to complete the rest of their rituals.
