President of Republic Receives Written Message From Egyptian Counterpart

On 27 May, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received Dr. Bedr Abdelaty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, who is leading his country’s delegation to the second session of the Mauritanian-Egyptian Joint Cooperation Commission.

His Excellency the President of the Republic received from Dr. Bedr Abdelaty a written message from His Excellency Mr. Abdelvettah al-Sisi, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The audience His Excellency granted to the Egyptian Minister focused on the areas of cooperation between the two countries and the means likely to strengthen it in the common interest of the two brotherly people.

At the end of the meeting, the Egyptian Minister made a statement in which he expressed his satisfaction with the audience granted to him by His Excellency the President of the Republic, during which he handed him a written message from his brother, the Egyptian President, considering that the meeting represents an opportunity to confirm the depth of the historic relations between the two brotherly countries, deepening and strengthening cooperation in all fields in the common interest, while stressing the importance of holding the work of the second session of the Egyptian-Mauritanian Joint Commission.
