Mauritania Explores Prospects for Cooperation with the State of Qatar in the fields of minerals and industry.

The Minister of Mines and Industry, Mr. Tiam Al-Tijani, received this morning, Monday, in his office, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Mauritania, Mr. Shaheen bin Ali Al-Kaabi, in the context of enhancing bilateral cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries in the fields of minerals and industry.

During the meeting, ways to develop partnerships between the concerned institutions in both countries were discussed, as well as showcasing the promising investment opportunities that our country is rich in, especially in the mining sector and related manufacturing industries. Both parties emphasized the strength of Mauritanian-Qatari relations during the meeting and their mutual commitment to advancing them towards broader horizons that serve their mutual interests.
