President of Republic Arrives in Abidjan

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived on Sunday evening in Abidjan, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, to participate in the 12th session of the African Business Leaders Forum.

Upon his arrival at the Abidjan airport, the President of the Republic was warmly welcomed by several Ivorian government officials, including Mr. Léon Kakou Hoaga Adoum, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Ivorians Abroad, Mr. Adama Jouara, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Mauritanian Ambassador to Abidjan, Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Ould Khattra, the staff of the Mauritanian diplomatic mission in Côte d’Ivoire, the Honorary Consul of Mauritania in Côte d’Ivoire, and other Mauritanian international officials, notably Mr. Sidi Ould Tah, our candidate for the presidency of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The President of the Republic is accompanied by a significant delegation, which includes:

• Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in charge of the President’s Cabinet.
• Mr. Sid’ Ahmed Ould Bouh, Minister of Economy and Finance.
• Mr. Ahmed Ould Bah, also known as Hmeida, Adviser to the President of the Republic.
