Minister of Economy and Central Bank Governor head to Kuwait

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Ould Dhehbi, left Nouakchott on Sunday evening for Kuwait to participate in the annual joint meetings of Arab financial bodies, which will be held from 08 to 10 April.

On behalf of Mauritania, the Minister will chair the meeting of Arab Finance Ministers and the 49th meeting of the Board of Shareholders of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAIAD). Besides, the minister will participate as a keynote speaker in the high-level workshop on “Achieving Development Goals under Fiscal Uncertainty and Debt Fragility: Future Trends”, organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF): Future Directions”, organized by the Arab Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.

The delegation participating in these meetings includes officials from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Central Bank of Mauritania.
