President of Republic Participates in AU Presidency Bureau Meeting via Videoconference

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, took part in a meeting of the bureau of the Presidency of AU on Saturday, using video-conferencing technology, as a member of the bureau.

The meeting examined a proposal for the appointment of a new African Union mediator in the conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
