National Assembly Speaker Leaves for Cairo

On 20 February, in Nouakchott, MP Mohamed Bamba Meguett, the Speaker of the National Assembly, left Nouakchott for Cairo, at the head of a Mauritanian parliamentary delegation, to take part in the work of the seventh conference of the Arab Parliament and Presidents of Arab Councils and Parliaments, to be held in the Egyptian capital on 22 February.

The meeting aims to support the resistance of the Palestinian people on their land and reject plans for forced displacement, annexation, and the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
