Environment Minister and German Ambassador discuss Preparations for Mauritanian-German Joint Commission Meeting

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Ms. Messaouda Mint Baham Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, received, on Tuesday at her office in Nouakchott, HE Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to our country Florian Rendel.
The meeting was topped by the meeting of the Mauritanian-German Joint Commission, scheduled for November in Nouakchott.
The meeting also dealt with aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of environment and sustainable development, and ways to strengthen partnership between the two parties in fields related to biodiversity conservation and nature protection.
The meeting was attended by the Advisor in charge of Cooperation and Partnership, Mohamed Yahya Ould Lavdhal, and the Advisor in charge of Communication, Nabila Mint Dahmoud Ould Merzoug.
