Foreign Minister heads to Addis Ababa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, left Nouakchott last night for Addis Ababa to prepare for the handover of the rotating presidency of the African Union during the 38th session of the AU Heads of State and Government Summit scheduled for February 15 and 16.

The Minister is accompanied by an important delegation that includes Messrs:

Khadija M’barek Vall, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Addis Ababa and Delegate to the African Union

 

Mohamed Ahmed Tata, Ambassador in charge of the Minister’s Office

 

Diakitte Moustapha, Ambassador, Director of the African Union and African Regional Organizations at the Directorate General for Multilateral Cooperation.

 

Ahmed Ould Doua, Ambassador, Director of Communication and Information at the Ministry.

 

Mohamed Ould Bab Ali Mahmoud, Ambassador, Director of Honors.
