Minister of Fisheries Leaves for Morocco

On 3 February, Mr. El Vadhil Ould Sidaty Ould Ahmed Louly, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime and Port Infrastructures, left Nouakchott for the Moroccan capital Rabat, at the invitation of his Moroccan counterpart.

During his stay in Morocco, the Minister will take part in the Agadir Seafood Fair “Aliotis”, held from 6 to 9 February in Agadir under the theme “Research and Innovation for Sustainable Fishing”.

Mr. Ould Sidaty will visit the Mauritanian pavilion at the exhibition, jointly organized by fishing associations and the Mauritanian Fish Marketing Company.

On 7 February, the Minister will also preside, with his Moroccan counterpart, over the work of the Mauritanian-Moroccan Joint Fisheries Commission.
