African Union President receives High-level Delegation from Kenya

On Friday at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, HE President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received a high-level delegation from the Republic of Kenya, headed by HE Raila Adenga, former Prime Minister of Kenya.

The meeting reviewed the close relations between our country and Kenya, ways to develop these relations and push bilateral cooperation towards achieving the desired goals.

The Kenyan delegation expressed their appreciation to HE The President for his tremendous efforts during his current chairmanship of the African Union and his defense of the continent’s interests in all international forums.

The meeting was attended by the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nani Ould Chrouga, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.
