Opening of the Mauritanian Pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Henno oversaw the opening of the 56th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair on Friday, accompanied by Abdullah Al-Harassi, Minister of Information of the Sultanate of Oman (the guest of honor of the fair), and in the presence of a number of ministers, intellectuals and media professionals in the Arab Republic of Egypt

Through the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament, Mauritania is participating in this important cultural event with a pavilion filled with new and valuable national publications in various fields of knowledge, led by the publications of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament and Mauritanian authors, in addition to our country’s participation in the symposium scheduled on January 26, 2025, related to creativity in Mauritanian literature.

The Mauritanian pavilion was well-received by visitors to the exhibition, which runs until February 5.
