Mauritania’s Ambassador to Portugal Presents Credentials

 

 

On 20 January, in Nouakchott, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Yahya Ould Teiss presented his credentials to Portuguese President H.E. Marcelo Rebelo D’Souza as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of Portugal, with residence in Paris.

During the ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of H.E. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to H.E. Marcelo Rebelo D’Souza, the President of the Portuguese Republic.

The Ambassador also welcomed the good relations between the two countries and expressed his desire to work with Portuguese officials to strengthen them at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

For his part, H.E. Mr. Marcelo Rebelo D’Souza asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings and respect to H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic.
